Our Veterinarians

DR. LOUIS MAUNA

Dr. Louis Mauna

Veterinarian

Dr. Louis Mauna is the proud owner of Sendero Animal Hospital. Dr. Mauna has dedicated his life to providing compassionate care to his clients over his many years of practice. After graduating from UCLA in 1998, Dr. Mauna attended Ross University and completed his final year of veterinary school at the University of Missouri, Columbia.

Dr. Mauna and his wife Kelly are proud parents to two beautiful children – Korie and Landen. Dr. Mauna enjoys CrossFit and living an active lifestyle in his spare time.

Dr. Frances Tiberi

Dr. Frances Tiberi

Veterinarian

Dr. Frances Tiberi is a Ladera Ranch local who has been practicing in Orange County for over 20 years. She earned her BFA from the University of Utah and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ohio State University. Her areas of interest include internal medicine, preventative care, and dentistry.

Dr. Tiberi lives a very active lifestyle with her husband, two sons, their dog, two cats, and four spoiled guinea pigs. When not in the clinic, Dr. Tiberi loves training at Orange Theory, spending time at the beach, cooking, gardening, and being a baseball mom!

Dr. Thakran

Dr. Thakran

Veterinarian

Dr. Thakran graduated from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. She then completed a one-year small animal rotating internship with specific training in emergency medicine, surgery, internal medicine, and oncology. She has worked in various positions in small animal general and emergency practice. Her interests include surgery,  dermatology, internal medicine, and urgent care. She enjoys counseling owners on all stages of life, from pediatrics to ways to improve mobility and quality of life as patients age and end-of-life care. She also finds great satisfaction in working with clients as a team to tailor therapies to each pet and solve the mystery of what ails them. Dr. Thakran is excited to bring her wealth of experience to Sendero Animal Hospital and hopes to treat all her patients like her own family.

Dr. Thakran is a native of Southern California but spent the more significant part of her adult life in Northern California. In 2019, she moved to the Temecula/Murrieta area and couldn’t be happier living in one of the most beautiful regions in the state. Outside work, she enjoys wine tasting, cooking, trying new restaurants, traveling, and spending time with her husband, stepkids, and friends. Her furry family includes two dogs and four cats.

DR. RYAN BLOESER

Dr. Stacy Baumann

Veterinarian

Dr. Stacy Baumann was born in Massachusetts and moved to California when she was 10 years old. She attended UCLA and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She continued her studies at UC Davis where she obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1999. Upon graduation from vet school, Dr. Baumann returned to Southern California and practiced in Irvine for 19 years. For 14 of those years, she co-owned a veterinary hospital. Since selling her share of her practice, Dr. Baumann has continued to work part-time.

Dr. Baumann’s special interests include dermatology, internal medicine and preventative medicine. She is still fascinated by the human-animal bond and cannot imagine life without pets! Dr. Baumann lives in San Clemente with her husband, son and daughter. Her animal family includes a pony, a dog, 2 cats, and a guinea pig. When she’s not working, Dr. Baumann loves
riding her pony, jazzercising, watching basketball and football (Go Bruins!!), mountain bike riding and traveling all over the world.

DR. RYAN BLOESER

Dr. Asha Radicic

Veterinarian

Dr. Asha Radicic is a graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph, Canada. She grew up in Southern California and began her veterinary career at a well-established local general practice and Animal Urgent Care of South Orange County. She has spent the last 12 years living and working internationally in the Middle East and SE Asia. 

In the Kingdom of Bahrain, she worked as a civilian veterinarian for the U.S. Naval Support Activity, where she helped care for military working dogs and pets living in the region. In 2017, she moved to Singapore where she worked at a 24-hour specialty/emergency hospital and referral based ultrasound imaging service.

Dr. Radicic recently returned to Orange County with 20 years of clinical experience and has a keen interest in internal medicine, critical care and diagnostic ultrasound. While living in Singapore, she completed a formal certification program in diagnostic imaging and currently teaches ultrasound courses at Sound Academy of Veterinary Imaging.

In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis for USTA, traveling and exploring remote areas of the world, dedicating her life to improve global animal health and welfare, volunteering her time as a proud member of World Vets and is having so much fun rediscovering Southern California with her husband and two black Labradors. Life and her professional journey has truly come full circle.

Melissa N. Hospital Manager

Melissa N.

 Hospital Manager

Melissa was born and raised in Southern California. She has been in the veterinary field for over 20 years. She lives in San Juan Capistrano with her two sons, two dogs, and an Egyptian Uromastyx.

In her spare time, she likes spending time with her sons, being outdoors, and going fishing. She has a soft spot for possums. Melissa is working towards getting her CVPM this year!

Josh B., RVT

Registered Veterinary Technician

Technician Manager

Josh has been a veterinary technician for over 20 years and became a Registered Veterinary Technician in 2008. His specialties are dentistry and critical care. When Josh isn’t at work, you can find him doing anything active, especially running. Josh lives with his wife, a turtle, a cat, and a fish tank full of cichlids.

Allie S., RVT

Registered Veterinary Technician

Allie was born and raised in San Clemente. She became a Registered Veterinary Technician in 2020. She has a rescue horse named “Willow” and two dogs, Maverik and Lilo. She lives in Dana Point with her husband and their daughter. In her free time, she enjoys working on horsemanship with her horse, jogging, and off-roading.

McKenna
McKenna, RVT

Registered Veterinary Technician

McKenna earned her RVT license in 2020. She was born in Southern California but has also lived in Canada. She has a dog named Dusty, who was found wandering in the desert and turned out to be the best dog ever! When McKenna isn’t working, you can find her snowboarding, surfing, horseback riding, or off-roading in the desert.

Veterinary Technician

McKenzie has lived in California for about eight years now, having moved from Florida, where she spent most of her time working on farms and cattle ranches. She enjoys being outdoors, mostly hiking with her Catahoula Leopard Dog, Sadie Mae. Her favorite animals are cows.

Veterinary Technician

Ashley was born and raised in LA County and moved to Orange County eight years ago. She has been in the Veterinary field for over ten years and has even worked in Emergency hospitals. She lives with her husband and kids in South Orange County. She keeps busy away from work, helping run the family business of a Veterinary Ambulance.

Veterinary Technician

Sabrina was in Southern California and has worked in the veterinary field for two years. She recently graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Science in biology and a minor in Italian. Outside of work, she loves reading, traveling, and playing tennis. Sabrina recently applied to vet school and is hoping to attend in the fall.

Registered Veterinary Technician

Will has been an animal lover his whole life, and knew he wanted to be in the veterinary field. Will obtained his RVT license in 2019. He loves working out, and going to Disneyland. At home, you can find him cuddling his 2 cats and 2 dogs.

Janeth was born and raised in San Juan Capistrano. She recently earned her Veterinary Assistant Certification and is thriving in this field. On her off time, Janeth likes snacking, hanging out with friends, listening to music, and taking walks in the city with her Alaskan Malamute, “Lobo”

Maddie is a Southern California native who has worked with many animals, including marine animals as well as farm animals. In her spare time, you can find her visiting Laguna Beach, local coffee shops, and farmers markets.

Paris is the newest of our team, and what a team member she is! We love her positive attitude and willingness to learn. She shares her household with 3 dogs, 3 cats, a bunny, an abundance of chickens, a parrot, and a turtle. In her spare time, you can find her at the beach, or at the zoo. She is currently enrolled in school to become a Registered Veterinary Technician.

Nicole was born in Glasgow, Scotland. She now resides in Ladera Ranch with her Maltese, Toby, and her two guinea pigs. She has two grown children and enjoys music, and documentaries, and loves orangutans.

Katie is a Southern California local, born in Dana Point. She has been in the veterinary field for over ten years, working in emergency and general practice. In her spare time, you can find her hanging out by the pool or at the beach with her dog, Anza, and her husband.

September is a Southern California native who has had a passion for caring for animals since she was a little girl. She has worked in all aspects of veterinary medicine, and is a certified pet loss and bereavement counselor. She enjoys an active lifestyle with her 3 dogs and four cats in San Clemente.
